I am seeking some new games/activites to do with my daughter? We just tried out finger paints which we had a blast with...what are some other good ideas for her age?

      Marsha,
I get a free weekly email from www.play-activities.com that has tons of great ideas! They're fun and educational things to do with your little one(s). I like that they tell you what they're "good for", too: this activity helps balance, gross motor control, visual processing, etc.

dltk-kids.com website has alot of kid-friendly crafts and games and is categorized by ages and themes! If she enjoyed fingerpaint--try using pudding for paint or shaving creme the table! Have you ever seen the bathtub color tablets that change the water color? That is fun too if you have a water table.

Indoor activities for 2 y/o: play tents, buy an old blow up swimming pool and fill it with balls to make a ball pit, play tents that have tunnels connected, or throw a blanket over a card table or kitchen table to turn into a tent..grab your flashlights and make hand/animal shadows.
