    anyone havee activity ideas for children either new rare or mayb a self made one? i want input on small motor skills activitys.....i was alsothinking is plating an indoor flower and helping a child care for it a good idea?

      absolutely! It works on the motor skills while you dig and plant, plus get out the fingerpaints and let them paint anddecorate the flower pot! Then it teaches them social skills as you teach them responsibility through caring for it, you couldeven make it a bit of a science project too depending on age and move the plant around periodically andwrite down what you observe if it is in direct sunlight, shade, outdoors, on a rainy day water, just write it all down and make a chart or something to show it's progress. ENJOY!

      i have a 2 yr old son and ALOT of house plants... he loves it. i let him help plant them into pots and now he waters them... with my help of course. =)
